Community Approach to Skills Development Training Program

The program offers a Variety of Hands on Skills Training Opportunities for Persons Experiencing Mental Health Problems between the ages of 14 – 17 years old. The Community Approach to Skills Development Program is designed to assist participants in obtaining skills in areas such as:
- Carpentry
- Small Engine Repair and Maintenance
- Welding
- Food Safe Handling
- Metal Working
- Safety Training
- Recreation and Leisure
- Life Management Skills
- Social Skills (Recovery College)
Referrals to the program can be made at any time and application forms can be picked up at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Alberta South Region office. Classes are held Monday through Friday at Lethbridge College.
